Tomorrow is Thursday which means it’s Friday’s Eve!!! What are your plans for the weekend? Let me know in the comments below. I am going to binge watch Friends on Friday and on Saturday I have a swim suit photo shoot (totally not swim suit ready but oh well) with some blogger babes.
I am in love with this whole bell sleeve trend. In case you didn’t know I am beyond OBSESSED with anything vintage. I love 70s music and fashion. I listen to 60s and 70s music on a daily basis. Whenever I wear bell sleeves I feel extra cool because I am pretty sure I was born in the wrong time period. This polka dot blouse from Olive Avenue is literally everything. It is flowy which makes it the perfect shirt for both spring and summer. Let’s be real those shirts that you can wear any season are the best kind.

I have a love/hate relationship with velvet. When it first came back in fashion I wasn’t the biggest fan (mainly because I over wore it as a child), but now I can’t get enough of it. I love the fact that it brings back my childhood memories and the fact that it can make any outfit look more chic. I found this cute green velvet shirt and haven’t been able to get enough of it since I got it. I can’t fail to mention that this top is only $6 get it from SheIn before it is sold out.
Big thanks to Evelyn from Dear Frida for taking my pictures.
In case you are wondering I ironed on the embroidery to an old pair of jeans.
My life has been a little bit crazy lately. Working full time and blogging isn’t easy. My blog tends to go on the back burner because my family comes first. Does anyone have any tips on how to balance it all? Also my sweet loving labradoodle recently passed away. It has been hard losing him (I am a dog mom) because it was so unexpected. He was such a big part of my family and I took a small break from social media, but I am back in full force.
On a completely different note I recently came across Bluish & Co and I instantly fell in love. I found this cute Sky Blue Ruffle Tee and knew it was meant to be (I’m a shopping addict). I love this shirt because of the color and the ruffles. Ruffles are pretty in right now and this shirt adds a fun spin on the newest trend.
Lately I have been binge watching Friends on Netflix. I have to say that it is by far one of my new favorite tv shows. What’s your favorite show to binge watch. Let me know in the comments. Can you believe that today is Wednesday? I swear it was just Saturday. Time really does fly by like crazy.
I received this cute mustard yellow top from My Sisters Closet Boutique. I love how flowy and fun of a shirt it is. Not to mention that it is the perfect shirt to wear on a warm spring or summer day. This shirt is perfect because it can be paired with almost anything to make any casual outfit more classy.
Big thanks to Evelyn from Dear Frida for taking my blog pictures. She always does such an amazing job at taking my pictures.
I am obsessed with the whole high waisted swimming suit trend. My only problem is that sometimes high waisted isn’t necessarily high waisted on me, because my torso is so long. Luckily Long Tall Sally comes to the rescue and has created the perfect swim suit line for tall girls. I love this swimming suit because it gives an vintage feel to it.
If you read my last swim suit post you may have noticed that I didn’t photo shop out my cellulite. Same thing goes for this post. I am all about loving your body the way it is. My body has never caused me any problems so why should I be so hard on it for packing on some weight?
These pictures were taken on my cruise. I had so much fun lounging around by the pool and playing on the beach.
Take me back to the caribbean ASAP.
I am doing a linkup with Pucker Up Style. Follow the link below to join the linkup
Isn’t this swim suit from Floral Lemon absolutely adorable? My cute cousins founded Floral Lemon. Their dad is currently battling stage 4 Melanoma cancer, so a portion of each purchase is donated to Huntsman Cancer Institute for cancer research. Not only are these suits to die for, but they also help out a great cause.
I am not going to lie it was difficult finding which suit I wanted because of how cute all of them are. I ended up going with the Pretty In Palms, because it opened in the back. I also loved the way it looked on me. It was a great suit for my cruise because it was comfortable and it was very cute.
In case you can’t tell I haven’t touched up myself in any of my photos I have cellulite and I am proud of it. My body has been nothing but awesome to me, so why should I be so hard on it for gaining a few lbs.?
Basically I am a 5 year old at heart…
Prior to this shoot with my husband… I tripped and hurt my foot. I forgot to take my bandaids off for the photo, but it makes for a fun touch… right?
Take me back to the Caribbean! I miss laying out on the beach.
I can’t share with you all enough how much I love Shop Rollick! Kelly, the owner, is my favorite. She has given each item the most amazing name. I also can’t fail to mention that she also shares the same spirit animal as myself.
While this scarf is currently sold out, you can still get some awesome scarfs from Shop Rollick‘s website. I highly recommend checking it out.
Big thanks to the wonderful Evelyn from Dear Frida for taking these amazing photo’s. I am head over heels with how they turned out.
When I first wore these shoes to my house my dad claimed that back in the 70s all of the cool kids wore these shoes. I remember in the 2000s when they came back in and I wanted a pair so bad. Now that I am an adult I finally bought some for myself. These are literally the most comfortable shoes I have ever had, plus they make putting outfits together 100 times easier. You can get them from Amazon for only $50.
Basically I am a 5 year old at heart. Thanks again to Evelyn for capturing the moment.
Isn’t this Gown from Marge absolutely amazing? I love how flowy it is and the fact that it fits my tall frame. Wearing this dress fulfilled my childhood dreams of walking around a park in a flowy dress. I can’t fail to mention that this dress has pockets. Let’s be real dresses without pockets aren’t as cool as dresses with pockets. In case you haven’t noticed I am all about clothes that are classy and functional.
Big thanks to my favorite person in the whole wide world, Evelyn Cervantes, for taking these pictures. I honestly am so blessed to have her in my life. She is a great friend, and she is incredible at taking pictures. Shooting with her is a blogger’s dream come true. She always makes me feel amazing.
I was recently introduced to The Bag Lady. It is the most magical purse website ever. She has the most amazing purses. She has almost anything you are looking at all for a great price. I promise you won’t be disappointed. She has whimsical, classy, and trendy purses. I love this purse because it adds a pop of color to any look. It has become my new staple in my wardrobe.
I am excited that Monday has come and gone. I am not the biggest fan of Monday’s because they are always extra stressful. To be honest I am pretty sure it’s just because I find a way to stress myself out extra hard. Yesterday was a bit crazy for me, because I am still adjusting to my new job. I overall love it, but it is still a lot of new information for me to learn. I guess it’s always good to continue to push yourself. I am just glad that it is Tuesday and Monday is over.
Ever since I started blogging I have been madly in love with Marge Clothing. I love the fact that it is luxury clothing specifically for tall women. I felt magically as I pranced around Salt Lake in this gorgeous outfit. I love the fact that. Kaersten Cooper inspired Marge by her grandmother. If you haven’t noticed I am all for incorporating heirlooms into my fashion.
Big thanks to Evelyn from Dear Frida for taking these stunning photo’s. She amazes me with her talent and she is fun to work with.
So this purse belonged to my aunt. While I was helping her with some stuff I found it and fell madly in love. She is very nice for letting me borrow it for a little bit. Isn’t is amazing?
